- On the 11th we went and bought Emily a new coat. Emily is so tall that she's 7 months old and growing out of size 9 months clothing. Well baby clothes jump from size 9 months to 12 months. The 12 month fit just about right, but since this girl is growing like a weed we went the next size up. 18 months. She looks like a little girl who eaten by a pink marshmallow. It was cold out and we were heading to a park next so we put her in it without washing it instead of wrapping her up in blankets. While we were at the park her face starting breaking out in hives. We got her home and called Doug's mom. She told us to try a baking soda bath. Within a few minutes the hives started to go away. So Emily has sensitive skin. A good thing to know.
- I went to go get my hair cut on Saturday ( it's to my chin now ) and when I was getting ready to come home I noticed I missed a call from home. So I called Doug back asking what he needed and to let him know I was on my way home. He told me he didn't call me, but Emily had been playing with the phone and had probably hit the redial button. Emily's getting so smart!
- Emily Grace is starting to try pulling up on things. So her mattress got lowered down to the lowest level. She's also bumped her head several times this week trying it. I'm glad we took the hard coffee table out of the living room last week and replaced it with two padded foot stools. Much softer for bumping little foreheads on.
