5 months and the zoo

Emily Grace turned 5 months old yesterday. It's amazing. She is getting so big, so smart and sweeter everyday. She's starting to get up on all 4's now. She can keep her whole tummy off the ground for a minute or so now.
Krizy dropped her ball in front of Emily the other day, hoping once again she'll throw it. Instead Emily grabbed it and started chewing on it. Gross! Krizy gave me this look that clearly said " If you don't get my ball back right now, I will!" So Emily has her own ball to chew on. Krizy also hasn't dropped the ball for Emily since.
We took Emily to the zoo today for the first time. We thought the weather was going to be nice. It was HOT! The tigers, loins and hoofed animals were put away because of construction so a good chuck of the zoo was closed. We did see alot of animals. Emily was who in her stoller thought chewing on her stroller strap in her attempt to get out was the best part of the zoo.  We took pictures of a bunch of animals.  I still don't like goats. Their creepy eyed mean things. We stopped by the gift shop on our way out and picked up a stuffed bald eagle for Emily. Any guesses what she did with it? Yep. She chewed on it.  I'm thinking chew toys for Christmas.  I'm hoping to go back sometime when it's a little cooler out so we'll want to do things like take more pictures of us.
